This past year I have been honored to have been a part of several great, local charity events. Each event was well planned and thought out and had a fabulous purpose. When I started my career as an Auctioneer and Realtor, little did I know how the skill of Auctioneering could be such a gift.

This year alone, I have been blessed to be a part of several events that allowed me to assist them in raising money for their various causes. From scholarship funds, to special needs education programs, mission work. homeless family transitional living, and others. Each time, I have been amazed at the response of people who attended the events. They were always excited about being there and bid to reflect that. What I love the most about what I got to do was to simply use the skill I was gifted with to facilitate their desire to give and be a part!

This time of year, many charities and non profits put on fund raising events to capitalize on the giving spirit of the Holidays. There are so many different ways to host events that will allow people to give. I am simply thankful that an Auction is one of those ways in which the crowd can be entertained and encouraged to give to the non profit/charity.

Today I was honored to have been nominated for a local award in connection to the Auctions done with Non Profits in the Sumner County area. I was surprised to have been nominated, but very thankful to have been put along side some great names like All Access Coach in Gallatin TN, Attorney Jim Hawkins, Brown's Florist in Hendersonville TN, and Reliant Bank in Gallatin. These individuals and companies have dedicated themselves to giving back to our community and County and I treasure the opportunity to have stood beside them today. A HUGE congratulations to Brown's Florist and my great friend Eric Blankenship over at All Access Coach on tieing in the voting for this award! Both very deserving.

2015 is swiftly coming to a close and 2016 will be upon us very soon. Another year will be here and we will again have the opportunity to all pich in and give to help those less fortunate than ourselves. For me, it will be another year in which I will hopefully have the honor again to give back with the skill given to me, doing something I enjoy so much, to give the Gift of An Auction!

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you all!
